House prices dropped by 1.4 per cent in Windsor and Maidenhead in April, new figures show.
But the drop does not reverse the longer-term trend, which has seen property prices in the area achieve 2.7 per cent annual growth.

The average Windsor and Maidenhead house price in April was £491,421, Land Registry figures show – a 1.4 per cent decrease on March.
Over the month, the picture was better than that across the South East, where prices decreased 2.3 per cent, and Windsor and Maidenhead outperformed the 1.9 per cent drop for the UK as a whole.

Over the last year, the average sale price of property in Windsor and Maidenhead rose by £13,000 – putting the area 64th among the South East’s 70 local authorities for annual growth.
