A builders’ merchant with a branch in Slough has been awarded a prestigious national award.
Selco Builders Warehouse, which has a branch on Farnham Road in Slough, was revealed as the Builders’ Merchant of the Year at the Builders’ Merchants Awards.
Television and radio personality Colin Murray hosted the ceremony virtually.

Chief executive Howard Luft dedicated the award to Selco’s 3,000-strong workforce.
Mr Luft said: “We are incredibly proud to have won this award and it’s testimony to the hard and outstanding work of everyone who works for Selco.

“The pandemic has made it an incredibly testing last year but it’s been extremely rewarding to see how the whole team has come together to provide a safe environment for our customers and colleagues and continue to help tradespeople go about their daily work.
“We will continue improving the business and our offering to tradespeople across the UK.”
