Plans to build three new homes in Maidenhead have been rejected by the council.
Developers had put forward plans to construct three homes, complete with associated access, parking and amenity space, in the land between and to the rear of 156-158 Windsor Road.
The plans had proved divisive with local residents, with several objections to the plans submitted to the council.
Within these objections, the key issues included a lack of consistency in the design with surrounding homes, possible increased traffic from the new access road and a lack of privacy.

This week, the council confirmed that they had rejected the proposals.
The reasons for the rejection included a lack of privacy, the development not keeping in character with existing homes and issues with the planned access road.
