A SLOUGH woman has been convicted of stealing from three charity shops in Henley after failing to turn up for a court hearing.
Denisa Niculae, of College Avenue, Slough, was due to appear in court on Friday, May 28, but failed to show up.
At the hearing, the 19-year-old was convicted of stealing from three charity shops in Henley on Thames on September, 18, 2020.

She first stole a blue t-shirt dress and pink lace-up pumps from Sue Ryder on Duke Street.
Next, Niculae stole a blue dress, a child’s knitted dress and a child’s pink purse worth £16.48 from the British Heart Foundation on the same street.
Finally, the 19-year-old stole a silver necklace and a leopard print shirt dress worth £14.99 from Cancer Research, also on Duke Street.

Due to her failure to appear at Oxford Magistrates Court last month, the charges were proved in absence.
An arrest warrant has since been issued for the Slough woman.
