Legoland in Windsor will be opening a brand new land this weekend, just in time for the May half term.

The new World of Mythical Creatures is part of a new £20m investment into the park and includes the UK's first flying theatre ride, named Flight of the Sky Lion.

Standing at 25 metres tall, the new ride will offer children and adults alike the opportunity to soar over the landscape of Lego Mythica.

Younger thrill seekers will also have the chance to enjoy the Fire and Ice Freefall drop tower ride, which stands at 13 metres in height.

Helen Bull, Divisional Director at Legoland Windsor Resort, said: “We are so excited to welcome children and their families into the incredible world of Lego Mythica the first and only land of its kind on earth. Guests can build, create, and let their imaginations run wild, whilst making incredible memories together as a family once again.
