Thames Valley Roads Policing later confirmed that there will be a closure between junction 5 and 6 "for some time".
There is also traffic in the diversion routes.
Due to the ongoing incident closing the #M4 west J5-J6 near #Slough the westbound portion of the planned weekend closure of the #M4 J6 to J8/9 will be delayed in going ahead. Once the M4 J5-J6 has re-opened the closure between J6-J8/9 will be put in.https://t.co/1tqJu4XcXo
