YOU can never predict the British weather so pubs have been imaginative and prepared for outdoor dining as they open up.

Outdoor igloos, pods, and marquees have been seen in pub gardens and outside restaurants across Winsdor and Maidenhead.

Here are four places in Windsor and Maidenhead that have igloo, pods, or marquees ready for you to grab a drink in or sit down for a meal in.

The White Oak, Maidenhead

Private dining pods are available to book at the White Oak in Cookham, Maidenhead.

Trust us when we say they do some of the best beef roast dinners in Berkshire. They get booked up quickly though so do call up before the weekend.

The Palmer Arms, Maidenhead

Royal Borough Observer:

This pub in Pinkey's Green prides itself on its massive garden and there's plenty of space underneath its hired marquee.

Once the weather warms up there will be barbecues all round!

The Vansittart Arms, Windsor

This pub in Windsor has plenty of tables with parasols to block out light rain. It's best to bring a brolly too if you're planning to venture out this weekend - just in case.

Royal Borough Observer:

The Palmers Arms, Dorney

Royal Borough Observer:

You can't go wrong with the Palmer Arms located between Windsor in the heart of Dorney.

It's got heaters underneath the large gazebo to keep you warm and protect you from the elements.
