A YELLOW weather warning for strong winds and heavy rain is expected to hit Berkshire this afternoon.
The Met Office has put a yellow weather warning in place for the south-east between 12pm today (Monday) and 9am tomorrow, warning of "disruptive" winds.
Weather forecasters said: "Gusts are likely to widely reach 40 to 50 mph inland and as high as 60-65 mph around some coasts of southern England and south Wales.

"The winds should gradually ease through Tuesday morning. The strong winds will be accompanied by some heavy rain at times."

Transport services are likely to be affected including bus and train services.
Damage to outdoor temporary structures are possible and tree branches could fall down too.
