A TOTAL of 104 people have tested positive for coronavirus in Berkshire in the last 24 hours.
Public Health England has recorded the lab-confirmed cases in areas including Reading, Bracknell, Wokingham, West Berkshire, Slough and Windsor and Maidenhead.
These figures, correct as of Friday, February 19 at 4pm, bring the county's lab-confirmed positive Covid-19 tests total to 52,951, according to Public Health England.

The local breakdown for the past 24 hours as follows:
Reading - 18 cases, 10,342 total
West Berkshire - 16 cases, 5,957 total
Bracknell - 7 cases, 6,718 total
Wokingham - 12 cases, 7,732 total
Slough - 34 cases, 14,311 total
Windsor and Maidenhead - 17 cases, 7,891 total
There have now been 4,105,675 people across the UK who have tested positive for Covid-19.
The total number of deaths - those with Covid-19 listed on their death certificate - across the UK has now reached 129,498.

Reading - 106.9
West Berkshire - 100.3
Bracknell - 101.2
Wokingham - 61.4
Slough - 212.7
Windsor and Maidenhead - 72

A three-month gap between doses of the Oxford/AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine results in higher vaccine efficacy than a six-week gap, a new study suggests.
The research indicates that with three months between the first and second dose there was an overall efficacy of 81%, compared to 55% for a six-week interval.
The first dose offered 76% protection in the three months between doses, according to the University of Oxford research published in The Lancet.
