A dog was rescued from a fire in Russell Street, Windsor this afternoon when its owners came home to see smoke billowing out from the kitchen.
They were able to get the dog to safety before one fire crew from Windsor and two from Slough arrived to fight the blaze at 12.30pm.

They were on the scene for an hour and a half.
The fire was contained to the kitchen but serious smoke damage was caused to the house.
