Almost 150 residents responded to our question and the approval of the vaccine has sparked up debate.

Here's what you had to say.

The majority of readers were largely in favour of the vaccine and would be happy to get vaccinated.

Andrew Taylor said: "Absolutely. Anything to get life back to normal."

Nicki Torrington echoed this and said: "Yes. If it's what we have to do to get back to normal then definitely."

Caroline Anne Lawes added: "Absolutely. As long as people see the ingredient details, reviews from people that took part in the trials, any known side effects, then crack on. Can't wait to get back to normal."

Others were on the fence with the question of getting a vaccine, with some suggesting more research is needed to see what the long-term effects are.

Steven Webb said: "Yes, but I will see if people who have it end up growing 2 heads or not. If they do then I will kindly decline it."

Wendy Trenerry echoed this and said: "I’m concerned it’s not had time for long term testing. Need to do a bit more research before I make a decision."

Some residents were totally against the Covid-19 vaccine.

Anthony Swan simply put: "Not in a million years." whilst Anna Wenderlish said: "If vaccines are made mandatory think of what else can be. This is a dangerous game."

Gazza Reggie thinks nature should take its course, "I don’t think so, my incredible immune system will deal with the virus if it hasn’t already."
