Three year groups have been told to stay away from Warfield CE Primary after a “small number of people” within the school’s community tested positive for coronavirus.

Those who received positive tests are now self-isolating, as are a wider number of staff and students who were identified as close contacts.

But the small outbreak means the school is now closed to years two, three and six in order to maintain safe teacher and pupil ratios.

Bracknell Forest Council says the year group closures are due to operational reasons and on-site safety, rather than because of the confirmed cases.

Parents have been advised when their children should return to classrooms, with youngsters in years one, four and five asked to attend school as normal. 

All Children at All Saint’s Rise should attend school as normal, too. 

Online learning will be made available for children told to stay away from Warfield Primary.
