Home care workers in Windsor and Runnymede have had a little bit of magic brought into their lives - by Britain's Got Talent magician Alan Hudson.

It was all the idea of Anitra Camargo, who owns the company Home Instead Windsor and Runnymede that looks after the elderly in their own homes.

She organised a Zoom call with Alan to provide some well needed light relief for her team.

A total of 22 caregivers and their families joined the call, as Alan kept them all on their toes with his magic tricks. He even guessed a team member’s pin number at one point.

Anitra said: “Thank you to Alan for providing a much-needed entertaining call to my team, he was absolutely brilliant.

"I wanted to thank all of my caregivers for working so fearlessly to keep our senior clients safe at home throughout the pandemic - their continued unwavering devotion is so commendable.”

One caregiver commented: “Alan was so funny. He left us gobsmacked with all of his tricks, we were all sat in front of our computers thinking ‘how did he do that?!’

"Thank you so much to Anitra for organising this for us, it was a perfect way to get us all laughing and talking when we can’t meet up in person!”
