A welcome carload of clothes, socks, pants, razors and biscuits brought pre-Christmas cheer to the Ragstone Road headquarters of the charity SHOC (Slough Homeless Our Concern) last week.
It came from ladies of the Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead Soroptimists volunteer service group.
The Soroptimist ladies are keeping busy in the lead up to Christmas.

Member Irene Brooks is currently assembling Christmas gift bags for SHOC. Each bag will contain toileteries, a notebook and pen, chocolates and a gift voucher.
Club members have not been able to meet in person since March. However president Sally Radford continues to host meetings on Zoom. Arrangements are also in hand to have Zoom meetings with two Friendship Link Clubs in Amsterdam and Tasmania.
