Planning to send a parcel this Christmas?
Then take care.
Figures collated from police data by shipping and courier service company Pack and Send reveal that the Thames Valley area covering Berkshire, Bucks and Oxfordshire is the one where you are most likely to have your parcel stolen.
There were 705 parcel thefts in 2018 and 2019 across the Thames Valley - 31 for every 100,000 people.
The safest place to send a parcel is Northern Ireland where only 21 were stolen - the equivalent of one for every 100,000 people.
