Get ready to be spooked this Halloween at the brand-new 'haunted house' at Windsor's Daniel Department store in Peascod Street.

The creaky doors open to all who dare enter from this Saturday until October 31 from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 10.30am to 4.30pm Sunday.

There is a misty graveyard, a dark corridor, creepy carnival, a mummy's chamber - not to mention a ghostly pumpkin patch watched over by the wicked witch in her lair.

This walk-through Halloween experience is equipped with animated sounds and visuals which bring the haunted house to life.

The house was built to offer a bit of fun Halloween activity for customers, after trick or treating was put on hold because of Covid.

Masks must be worn inside the house at all times, hand sanitiser is available at the entrance, while only one family/support-bubble may enter at a time.

Juman Rashid, Emma Greaves and Alex Revell designed and built the house.

Juman said: "We created this haunted house to be fun, quirky, scary and full of dark surprises. We cannot wait for it to be open to the public for everyone to enjoy."
