Hallowe'en fans visiting Windsor Legoland theme park may have to dodge witches and vampires - but they will be safe from the Coronavirus WRITES AAMINA ZAFAR.

The theme park started welcoming little monsters and witches last Thursday for its annual two-week celebrations which run until Sunday, November 8.

As well as temperature checks the theme park has introduced enhanced cleaning, one-way walking systems and social distancing markers on ride queues, shops, and restaurants. It is also mandatory for guests aged 11 and over to wear face masks in some areas of the resort.

Tariq Masud, 38, from Slough, said: “I was a bit nervous about what the experience would be like post-Covid-19, but actually it was fine.

"We’ve been coming to the park over the last eight-years and it was just as busy as it normally is. But with the current pandemic, it was reassuring to see all the extra safety precautions- especially the temperature checks just before we entered Legoland, and the social distancing markers throughout the theme park.”
