The mum of a teenage boy seduced by their babysitter - who later gave birth to his child - has spoken of the 'traumatic' toll on his life.

Leah Cordice, 20, pounced on the 13-year-old after a drunken night out in January 2017.

The boy was playing Xbox when she entered his room and pulled his trousers down.

When the pregnancy emerged she claimed the baby was fathered by her husband - who also believed the child was his.

Cordice was found guilty of sexual activity with a child in March this year and jailed for two-and-a-half years at Reading Crown Court in May.

Now the boy's mother - who is remaining anonymous to protect her son's identity - has spoken out, saying: ''Leah was a trusted friend of the family.

''She burst into my son's room while I wasn't there, while he was relaxing playing his games and forced herself on him.

''Leah is a tall woman, my son was a very small boy when the abuse began, it disgusts me.

''When she got found out she even tried to say that my son had raped her. I'm just so livid at all she's put him through.

''She's shown zero remorse - it tore my son apart for a long time.

Cordice, from Windsor, was a regular guest in their family home even helping out with babysitting duties.

She even abused the boy while pregnant with the child she claimed was her husband's.

The mother of the victim first became aware of a problem when her son's behaviour changed in 2018.

She said: ''Not long after that the police came over to our house.

''They said that there were accusations that Leah was sleeping with a young boy. I feel so stupid now but I stuck up for her.

''It wasn't until a few months later when I bumped into an old friend at a party who said ''I believe you've become a grandma'' that the room span and I realised what she meant - suddenly it all clicked into place."

A DNA test proved that the victim was the father of her child and family proceedings placed the little girl into foster care. She has since been adopted.

The victim's mum said: ''My son will now only be allowed to meet his daughter again when she's 18.

''It devastated him, he had a breakdown.

''The worst of it is having his daughter taken away from him - he remembers every birthday.''
