The driver of a bus was taken to hospital after the vehicle smashed into a tree on Saturday afternoon.

At 3.15pm last Saturday, the purple single decker bus was travelling north along Burchetts Green Road, in the direction of Burchetts Green Roundabout.

As it reached the roundabout, the bus then veered off the road - smashing into a tree on the other side.

Fortunately, no passengers were on board the bus at the time of the crash.
