Meeting for lunch may be out of the question at the moment - but Windsor and Eton Rotary Club members are helping to make sure that others do not go hungry.

Club members are now meeting each other through Zoom. But they decided to contribute to Windsor Foodshare some of the money they would have spent on having lunch together

Their donation - together with grants of £2,000 from the Prince Philip Trust and £1,500 from Rotary District - enabled £7,000 to be given to Foodshare.

Windsor and Eton Rotary members have also given £500 towards the Windsor Festival which is struggling through Covid and £1,000 to the Lebabese Red Cross for the Beirut Emergency Appeal following the terrible explosion which killed at least 150 people.

The Club we will be hosting a new Rotary Scholar in the new year while he is pursuing his masters at Oxford in Philosophy with an emphasis on Human Rights (Peace and Conflict Resolution).

The Rotarians have also purchased a 3D Printer for The Windsor Boys School. Hundreds of masks are being made this way and it will continue to be used for education purposes as the children go back to school.

Members and friends of the Rotary Club are again able to hold their monthly walks, the first one being around The Windsor Great Park followed by a socially distanced lunch at the Fox & Castle pub in Old Windsor.
