CONCESSIONARY bus pass times are reverting back to pre-coronavirus hours from June 29, Slough Borough Council has announced.

Due to lockdown restrictions beginning to ease even more, residents will be able to use the pass for free travel between 9.30am and 11pm, Mondays to Fridays, and 24-hours a day on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

However, Slough residents using public transport must wear face coverings, maintain social distancing, and sit in allocated seating when on the bus.

When lockdown was announced on March 23, Slough Borough Council relaxed the times when holders could use the concessionary pass to 24 hours a day in order to assist holders who are vulnerable to do their shopping and access services in the early morning.

The NHS guidance is that if you have symptoms of coronavirus apply for a test and self-isolate for seven days and should not go to work or use public transport. If living with someone who has symptoms, or someone in a support bubble, self-isolation needs to be for 14 days.
