Emergency services dispersed a 'gathering' by a bonfire, despite pleas for people to stay at home during the Covid-19 outbreak.

In a post shared on social media, TVP Chiltern and South Bucks criticised those who had gathered around the fire, saying that it is 'not what the police and the fire service should have to be dealing with in these testing times."

The force did praise Chesham residents in the same post, posting a picture in Chesham showing a deserted park in the town - labelling it a 'good example of Covid-19 compliance'.
