Officers investigating the attempted murder of a man in Slough have made an arrest.
A 21-year-old man from Slough was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of attempted murder in Chatfield three days earlier. He has been released on conditional police bail until April 20.
The victim, a man in his twenties, had sustained a number of stab wounds.
He was taken to hospital, but has been discharged.
Senior investigating officer Detective Inspector Will Crowther, of Force CID, based at Slough, said: “We continue to investigate this serious incident and have now made an arrest.
“I would like to renew our appeal to anybody who believes that they witnessed this incident to contact 101, quoting reference 43200092508.
“The man arrested has been released on bail while our investigation continues.
“If you don’t wish to speak directly with police, you can make a report online, or call the independent charity Crimestoppers 100 per cent anonymously on 0800 555 111.
