THE Golden Eagles Under 10s suffered a 3-2 defeat against Harefield United Youth in the Thames Valley Development League on Sunday.

Harefield dominated the first half and were three goals ahead at half time.

Golden Eagles came storming back in the second period however with goals from Mohamed Christian-Fares and Yaseen Kamaly.

In other U10s matches, Singh Sabha beat Thames Valley Youth 2-1 and Explores beat 4FuturePro by the same scoreline while Delaford Colts Whites beat Cookham Dean Rebels 3-0.

Golden Eagles Under 11s were beaten 5-4 at the hands of Chalfont Saints. Gabbie Cardoso bagged a brace for the Eagles with further goals from Daniel Carty and Malakai Morton.

The Golden Eagles Flyers had the best result of the day when beating Burnham Junior Sabres White 9-0 and playing some excellent football in the process.

The Eagles got off to the best possible start with a stunning goal from Rijad Krasniqi. The other goals scorers were Kobey Muller, Mmoloki Chiwiyu, Taylor Blakely and captain for the day Frankie Runham. There was also a man-of-the-match performance from Sajjan Takhar.

Other results in the U11s competition include a close 2-1 win for Townmead Youth against Harefield United Youth while FC Holyport Hawks beat Maidenhead United Junior Cobras 4-0.

S4K Wolves beat Townmead Youth 4-2 in the U12s competition while RedKore Reds and Explores drew 1-1 and Chalfont Saints Pythons thrashed Frontline 7-0.

Golden Eagles U14s ran out 6-0 winners over a depleted Downley Dynamos Whites side in the Wycombe and South Bucks Minor League.

The goals scorers included Sam Hopkins, Elson Haxhaj, Esar Deol, Hamid Mrehe and Rimaz Lathif.
