BURNHAM regained the winning thread in the Hellenic League Premier Division after a 3-0 victory against Ardley United on Tuesday night, writes Rob Stevens.
The Blues had been on a five-match losing streak in the league and not tasted success since the win at Easington Sports six weeks ago.
Burnham took a narrow one-goal lead into the break at The Gore and bagged two further strikes in the second half.
The win means the Blues have moved up one place to seventh position in the league table and just a single point behind Brackley Town Saints in fifth.
Burnham welcome fourth bottom Royal Wootton Bassett Town to The Gore this Saturday (3pm) before making the short trip to Bucks rivals Flackwell Heath next Tuesday (7.45pm).
Windsor saw their match at Holmer Green postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Watchet Lane. Windsor could climb into the top 10 with a win at Lydney Town this Saturday (3pm).
Langley missed out on the chance to climb the table in Division One East after their match against Wallingford Town was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Summerleaze Village.
Langley are due to host unbeaten league leaders Risborough Rangers next Tuesday (7.45pm).
Holyport saw their Reading Senior Cup tie at Sandhurst Town postponed with the pitch at Bottom Meadow waterlogged.
Port return to league action when Thame Rangers make the trip to Summerleaze Village this Saturday (3pm).
