RISBOROUGH Rangers are keeping everything crossed in the hope they can emulate the Arsenal invincible team from the 2003-2004 season.

Rangers are the runaway leaders in the Hellenic Division One East with 19 wins and two draws from 21 league matches – scoring 66 goals and conceding just 12.

The Bucks side are 12 points clear of the chasing pack with the advantage of a game in hand on the two sides directly below them.

Risborough boast the perfect winning record at home in the league 12 wins from 12 matches and attendances at the B.E.P Stadium have been on the up with an average of 91 which is tremendous for step six.

Rangers have not played in two weeks after matches at home to Abingdon Town and most recently at Wokingham & Emmbrook on Saturday were postponed due to waterlogged pitches.

The Risborough strike force of Kyle Faulker, Sam Pekun and Brian Haule – the leading goals scorer in the division – have bagged 63 goals between them.
