Warm hearted staff and residents at Woodland Manor Care Home have donated 10 hand sewn teddy bears to the children's ward at Slough's Wexham Park Hospital.
They were lovingly crafted by the care home's head of leisure and wellness Shaun Wallace with help from residents Angela Hardman, Hilary Brady, Beryl Ward, Joy Alder and Gillian Tweedie- Smith.
A team from Woodland Manor, which is in Micholls Avenue, Chalfont St Peter near Gerrards Cross, visited the hospital on Tuesday to hand the bears over.
Woodland Manor is set in two acres of landscaped woodland garden - where nursing, dementia and respite care is provided.
It runs an award-winning programme of resident activities to ensure no-one gets bored - of which the hand sewn teddies represent a prime example.
