SHOPPERS were evacuated from Marks and Spencer today after a gas leak temporarily closed the Lexicon store.
Staff closed the shop in Bracknell's Lexicon for two hours as a precautionary measure.
It followed a 'minor CO2 leak' from a refrigeration unit in the shop.

The company confirmed that although there was 'no safety risk' it was decided the shop should close for two hours as a precaution.
It has since reopened to customers and the leak has been fixed.
An M&S spokeswoman said: “We temporarily closed our Bracknell Lexicon store whilst we repaired a refrigeration issue.
"The store has now reopened and is trading as usual."
