THE Maidenhead District Netball League managed to avoid the current storms with matches in Division Four able to go ahead on Wednesday night.

Aftershocks met with Margaritas on court one, starting with a very low scoring first quarter. Margaritas found their stride in quarter two and stormed ahead to the final whistle for a 28-8 win.

Meanwhile, Blue Magnets 2 and Holidays played on court two. Holidays had a strong first half but a half-time pep talk saw a different Blue Magnets team enter the court on, which saw each team score seven goals in the third quarter.

Into quarter four and Holidays pulled away to win 46-14.

A fantastic close game took place between Bumblebees and Dean Dreamers with the teams consistently within a goal of each other throughout.

Bumblebees had a strong drive in quarter four and turned over two Dean Dreamers centres to win 28-25.

Red Rockets found themselves behind for the first half of their game against Rubies, down by four goals at half time.

Despite missing their regular shooter, Vixens came to win against The Crew. Some fabulous shooting from Emma Smith, their usual centre, saw Vixens take and hold on to a convincing lead throughout. the match finishing 36-21.
