1. Paraglider stuck in TREE rescued by fire services

2. Choir members who had their voice boxes removed become film stars

Reading Chronicle:

Choir members who have had their voice boxes removed following a battle with throat cancer have had a documentary made about their lives.

Members of the choir, Shout at Cancer, featured in the documentary "Can you hear my voice?" including Ian Bradshaw from Newbury and Andrew Pett from Reading.

4. Big-hearted owners needed for 'gentle giant' dogs

Dogs Trust Newbury is hoping to find big-hearted owners with an equally large sofa for a mother and daughter doggy duo who tip the scales at almost 100kgs.

Dogue de Bordeauxs, three-year-old Honey and her mum five-year-old Roxy are devoted to one another.

5. Crash involving stolen BMW and Ford leaves driver and passenger with injuries

Reading Chronicle:

Police are hunting for the drivers of a stolen blue BMW 318i after it was involved in a collision in Wash Water at the junction with Andover Road in Newbury.

The crash resulted in a woman and passenger suffering a number of injuries.
