Datchet's new 'pop up' post office has opened.
The service sees the return of a post office service to the village after two years.
The previous Post Office service closed two years ago after thecontract with Datchet Food and Wine Shop failed to work out.
Now a temporary service is being provided at St Mary's Church in London Road - one day a week Tuesdays between 8.30am and 12.30pm. It began on January 7 and runs through an 'outreach service' by a local postmaster.
It does not sell foreign currency, do passports although you can get a form, or electricity key top-ups.
The Post Office is understood to be still looking for a way of providing a permanent seven day a week service.
