FIREFIGHTERS from Maidenhead and Windsor saved a house in the early hours of yesterday morning (Thursday) after a blaze started in a garage.

The three fire engines went to Clifton Close, Maidenhead at 12.45am and were on the scene for four hours, preventing the flames spreading to the main house.
