FLACKWELL Heath saw their four-match losing streak in all competitions come to an end after a 3-0 win at Lydney Town in the Hellenic League Premier Division on Saturday.

The Heathens had not tasted victory since the win at Tuffley Rovers four weeks ago but this most recent success sees them climb back into the top 10.

The visitors to the Lydney Recreation Ground led at the break thanks to a penalty kick from Dean Morgan, with further goals in the second half from Dan Bailey and Khalistan Simmo.

Flackwell return to Wilks Park for the visit of Longlevens this Saturday (3pm).

Holmer Green are now on a 15-match losing streak in all competitions following their 7-3 defeat at fellow strugglers Royal Wootton Bassett Town.

A goal from Lewis Workman gave The Greens a lead inside the opening 60 seconds at the Gerrard Buxton Sports Ground, but a Mark Francis brace saw them behind after seven minutes.

The visitors fell further behind when Carl Evans scored twice before the first period reached its halfway point. Holmer pulled a goal back through Panel Kotwica but Wootton Bassett led 5-2 at the break thanks to a Terence Bohane strike.

The home team extended their advantage in the second half through Brad Pagliaroli before Kai Morgan struck for The Green, but Wootton Bassett had the last work with a goal from Caine Bradbury.

Holmer remain bottom of the league table but only behind Brimscombe & Thrupp on goal difference ahead of a visit to Watchet Lane from Lydney Town on Saturday (3pm).

Risborough Rangers remain the unbeaten leaders of Division One East after a 1-1 draw in their top-of-the-table clash at Abingdon United on Tuesday night.

A goal from Bertie Squire-Adams gave Rangers the lead inside nine minutes at The Northcourt, but Abingdon equalised through Jordan Edwards in the second half.

Risborough recorded their 10th league win of the season when beating AFC Aldermaston 3-0 at Windsors on Saturday.

A goal from man-of-the-match Gary Rymer gave the home side the lead before the break, with both Brian Haule and Rymer on target in the second half.

Risborough return to Windsors for the visit of Chalvey Sports this Saturday (3pm).

Marlow United are out of the Reading Senior Cup this season after a 4-3 defeat in the first round at Holyport on Tuesday night.

A goal from Paul Rake gave The Flying Blues the lead inside the opening 60 seconds at Summerleaze Village, with Chris Hurst doubling the advantage from the penalty spot on 10 minutes.

Port pulled a goal back through Fabian Driffill and the visitors were reduced to 10 men when a first half substitute was shown a red card before the break.

The home team got their noses in front with a brace from Andy Forisky before Liam Bushay levelled the scores at 3-3 for Marlow with 15 minutes remaining.

Holyport secured their ticket into the second round when Daniel Rapley scored inside the last eight minutes.

Marlow dropped to fourth position in Division One East following their 4-2 defeat against Milton United at the Alfred Davis Memorial Ground on Saturday.

A goal from James Tripp gave the hosts the lead but Louis Joyce equalised for Milton before the break.

The visitors took the lead in the second half thanks to goals from Jake Steel and Kieron Strange. Marlow pulled a goal back when Hurst scored from the penalty spot but Milton had the last word when Taylor Janes struck three minutes from the final whistle.

Marlow turn their attention to the Floodlit Cup and a trip to league rivals Kidlington Development next Tuesday (7.45pm).

Penn & Tylers Green did not have a fixture to fulfil last weekend but return to action when Bucks rivals Risborough Rangers visit Holloways Park next Tuesday (7.45pm).
