The mystery of the suspicious items blown up by an army disposal team near the lakes in Park Lane, Horton, has been solved.
Thames Valley Police, a Marine Unit and the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team have been on the scene since Tuesday afternoon.
Two controlled explosions were carried out on Tuesday evening and 25 'non-viable devices' were found, recovered and removed.
Police emphasised there was no danger to the public.
Now an investigation led by Thames Valley Police has concluded that the mysterious items were training devices which had been stolen from a property in London. All of the stolen training aids have been recovered and officers have left the scene in Horton.
An investigation into the burglary that led to the theft of the devices is now being carried out by the Metropolitan Police.
