For the second time in just over two weeks, a local school was broken into – with thieves stealing a number of laptops and causing damage to the building and the grounds.

The laptops were taken from the Cadmore End C of E School, with an appeal being launched on social media for anyone who knows anything about the break in to come forward.

The post, shared by Friends at Cadmore End School, reads: “Over the half term our beautiful little school was targeted by heartless thieves who have stolen the children’s laptops as well as causing damage to the building and the grounds.

“The actions of these people will have a direct affect on the children as a valuable asset, has been taken from them.

“We are reaching out to the community, for any information you may have or if you hear of any laptops being sold.

“If you would like to make a donation towards their replacements or help us to strengthen our security measures then please feel free to email us on office@cadmoreendschool.org.”

Thirty laptops were stolen from Hazelemere C of E School last month, which was labelled by the PTA as a 'senseless crime'.
