An ugly pile of dumped rubbish on the side of a major link road between Datchet and Wraysbury has angered recently elected borough councillor Ewan Larcombe.
He spotted it yesterday morning as he drove along Horton Road.
Cllr Larcombe, who has represented Datchet, Horton and Wraysbury on the Royal Borough since April and is a veteran parish council member, said: "It is clearly builders' waste and a large vehicle has clearly pulled up onto the verge. It is a problem that is becoming absolutely rampant, out of control."
It is the responsibility of the Borough Council to clear waste and prosecute miscreants. But Cllr Larcombe says that some of the ugliest examples are not cleared away because they are technically on private land, often owned by people who are not even aware it has happened.
He says there is one pile of rubbish in Welley Road that has been an eyesore for six months.
He said: "It's a point I have raised as a councillor and needs drastic action."
