Photographer Kirsty Meredith is celebrating her first exhibition after graduating - showing some of her most recent architectural and documentary photographic work at The Curve in Slough throughout November.

The exhibition is called Construction to Completion, revealing the transformative journey of modern buildings from start to finish. She brings this journey to life with striking exterior and interior images that show modern and post-modern architecture.

The photographs on display include images taken in Beaconsfield, London and Manchester.

Kirsty, 28, has Cerebral Palsy. She has been freelancing as a photographer in and around the Maidenhead and Slough area for a year. As well as running her photography business, Kirsty also runs a blog series called #DeterminationAndDisability where she interviews other business women with disabilities and shares their stories in order to raise awareness of the challenges they face.

She said: “My hope is that this exhibition will inspire visitors to look at the buildings around us in a whole new light.”

Kirsty Meredith is from Maidenhead and this is her first solo exhibition since graduating from the University of West London in July 2018 with a first class honours in BA Photography.

She said: “I am thrilled to be exhibiting at The Curve in Slough for my first solo exhibition. This is a great venue and a real opportunity for me to showcase my latest projects and engage in the Slough community. I hope that people will be inspired by the recent building projects I cover as well as the new modern architecture that I have captured over the past year”.
