Four High Wycombe men have been charged after a driver was allegedly stabbed in the head and hands following a car crash.

An 18-year-old man was reportedly left needing hospital treatment following an attack in Perth Road, High Wycombe, on Tuesday, October 1, at around 9.30pm.

Police say he suffered stab wounds to his hands and head after being "assaulted by a group of men" following a car crash.

Waqar Jamil, 24, of Alford Road, Mohammad Asim Khan, 21, of Spearing Road, Husn Khan, 18 of Spearing Road and Iftikar Aslam, 27, of Chiltern Avenue, all in High Wycombe, have been charged with section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

The four were arrested on October 17 and 18 and appeared at Milton Keynes Magistrates' Court on October 19.

All of them have been remanded in custody.
