BURNHAM continue to make progress in the Hellenic League Challenge Cup this season after a two win against rivals Windsor on Saturday, writes Rob Stevens.

Goals either side of the break from Sam Coles and Aiden Higgs ensured victory for The Blues in the third round tie at The Gore.

Their reward is a trip to either Binfield or Chalvey Sports in round four of the competition.

Burnham return to action in the Hellenic League Premier Division with a trip to Bishops Cleeve, whilst Windsor head to Royal Wootton Bassett Town this Saturday (3pm).

Chalvey Sports dropped to fifth position in Division One East following a 5-0 defeat against Penn & Tylers Green on Saturday.

A goal from Dean Allen gave the visitors to Arbour Park a lead inside three minutes, before furthers strikes in the second half from Allen, Fred Tripp, Rashid Hamed and Tom Fifield.

The Stabmonks make the short trip to Binfield from the Premier Division in the Challenge Cup tonight (Monday, 7.45pm).

Langley moved up one place to 15th position in the league table after a 2-2 draw with AFC Aldermaston at Summerleaze on Saturday. Dan Watkiss and Jack Chaplin scored the goals for the hosts.

Langley welcome Marlow United on Tuesday (7.45pm).

Holyport did not have a fixture to fulfill last weekend but return to action with a trip to Reading City in the Challenge Cup tonight (Monday, 7.45pm).
