A CYCLIST was injured after a collision with a car on Thursday, September 26.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident.

At around 9pm a man in his early thirties was on his bicycle on London Street at the traffic lights at the junction of London Road, Reading.

He was heading towards Silver Street and as he passed through the lights he has been involved in a collision with a blue Toyota car.

The cyclist received an injury to his shoulder but did not require hospital treatment.

The driver of the car was not injured.

Investigating officer PC Paul Mulvey of Incident and Crime Response based at Reading, said: “We are investigating this road traffic collision.

“We are asking anyone who witnessed this incident or may have been driving at this time and has dash-cam footage of the incident to please get in touch.”
