BURNHAM have made progress in the Hellenic League Floodlit Cup this season after a 4-0 win against Banbury United Development on Tuesday, writes Rob Stevens.
The Blues turn their attention to the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup and a preliminary round tie at league rivals Binfield on Monday (7.45pm).
Holyport exited the competition following a 5-4 defeat on penalties to Wallingford Town after the tie finished 3-3 in normal time at Summerleaze.
Port took the lead inside five minutes with a goal from George Lock, but a Charlie Silkstone brace gave the visitors an advantage heading into the break.
The hosts equalised in the second-half through Wes Sutherland, before a goal from Sam McDermaid restored the lead for Wallingford. Holyport took the tie to a penalty shoot-out when Daniel Rapley levelled the scores with 15 minutes remaining.
Holyport turn their attention to the FA Vase and a second qualifying round tie at Wellingborough Town from the United Counties Premier Division this Saturday (3pm).
Slough Town return to action in the National League South with a visit to Arbour Park from Hampton & Richmond Borough this Saturday (3pm).
Windsor turn their attention to the Floodlit Cup when Thame Rangers make the trip to Stag Meadow next Tuesday (7.45pm).
Chalvey Sports have a break until Saturday 21st September when Berkshire rivals Woodley United arrive at Arbour Park for a Hellenic Division One East fixture.
Langley are back in action with a Berks & Bucks Senior Trophy tie at Windlesham United this Saturday.
