Brutal burglars threatened a teenage girl with a knife when they broke into her home on Saturday night.
At about 10pm to 10.10pm a white hatchback cat stopped on Laxton Green near Shoppenhangers Road. The four occupants got out and broke into a nearby home, armed with a knife. They got away with jewellery after threatening the girl who was on her own. She was uninjured.
The offenders then drove away on Shoppenhangers Road, in the direction of the A404.
All of the offenders wore baseball caps, gloves and face coverings. Three are described as skinny build and one was a larger build.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Christopher Jamieson, of Windsor & Maidenhead Force CID, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this incident during which a person was threatened with a knife.
“This happened near to Shoppenhangers Road, where members of the public would have been driving past. If anyone driving in the area at that time has dash-cam footage, please contact the police.
“Likewise, if anyone believes they saw the offenders described, or has CCTV footage, I would ask them to come forward.
“Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting 43190277061. Or alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
