A 28-year-old man has been jailed for drug offences and possession of criminal property after a police raid on his home.

Jason Wade, 28, of College Rise, Maidenhead, was jailed for three years and four months at Reading Crown Court on Tuesday last week.

He pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and a count of possession of criminal property on the same day.

A search warrant was carried out at Wade’s home address on July 17 and he was charged the following day after officers found drugs and cash.

Investigating officer, PC Katy Phillips of the Problem Solving Team at Maidenhead police station, said: “The Stronghold campaign works with our partners to prevent serious and organised crime. Drugs have a significant impact on our communities and we will continue to work hard to investigate and prosecute offenders.

“Wade will now face a prison term for his actions.

“We would always urge members of the public who are aware of any drug dealing in the community to report it to police by calling 101, making a report online or by calling independent charity Crimestoppers for 100 per cent per cent anonymity on 0800 555 111.”
