An appeal for witnesses has been launched after a motorcyclist was hospitalized after crashing into a telegraph pole.

At around 4.30pm on Tuesday (20/8) a motorcycle collided with a telegraph pole on Mill Street.

A driver stopped at the scene and took the rider to hospital, where they remain receiving treatment.

Thames Valley Police have said they would like to trace the victim's black and orange KTM motorbike.

Investigating officer, PC Jonathan Housby, of the Roads Policing Unit, based at Taplow, said: “I am appealing for anyone with information about this incident to please come forward.

“I would also like to appeal to anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of the victim’s motorcycle. This had been removed from the scene prior to officers arriving.

“Anyone with information can contact police on the non-emergency number 101, or make a report online.

“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
