THE Oakley Court Hotel has a new chef.
Will Hemming who is from Wales was previously head chef of Simpson’s in the Strand and Monkey Island Brasserie in Bray.
He has also worked at Celtic Manor Resort in Wales, as well as the Ritz-Carlton in Berlin and Sky Garden in London.
Will has a passion for sustainability and supporting British farmers. He is looking forward to working with home grown produce from the extensive chef’s gardens onsite at The Oakley Court.
Will said: “I am thrilled to be joining The Oakley Court team and featuring British and European farmhouse style food on the menus here. The hotel has such a wonderful setting with the backdrop being the River Thames, I am excited to take the dining experiences to another level.."
The Oakley Court at Water Oakley has been a luxury hotel since 1981, maintaining its four Star Silver AA rating and earning a 2 AA rosette for its restaurant The Dining Room.
It has a long history with the British Film Industry and has been the setting of over 200 films since the 1950’s ensuring its long affiliation with the local area.
