Homeowners and staff at a Maidenhead retirement living development opened their doors to local retirees for live jazz music and Pimm’s.

Guests who attended the event at McCarthy and Stone’s Elgar Place development, in Bridge Avenue, enjoyed an afternoon of sipping Pimm’s on the roof terrace while enjoying live entertainment.

As well as basking in the sunshine with a glass in hand, guests were able to take a closer look at Elgar Place.

The event gave guests the chance to take a tour of the show complex, meet the McCarthy and Stone team, and chat with retirees who are already living at the development.

Julie Ward, national sales director for McCarthy and Stone South East, said: “Our Pimm’s on the terrace event was a great success. Everyone enjoyed having a glass of Pimm’s whilst soaking up the sun on our roof terrace, and MPR Jazz put on a fantastic performance for our homeowners and guests.”

“The event was a good chance for us to showcase the wide variety of activities we host here at Elgar Place, and to provide people with an insight into the lives homeowners enjoy at the development.”
