Soul singer Janine Johnson is preparing to return to Norden Farm Arts Centre in Maidenhead for another successful show next month.

The star will perform ‘The Hits of Whitney Houston’ at the venue on Saturday, September 21.

It is no easy task to take on the repertoire of one of the greatest soul singers of all time - but Janine performs with the voice, the soul and the power as she provides an evening of classic and timeless hits.

Janine will recreate some of Whitney’s biggest hits including I Want To Dance With Somebody, Saving All My Love For You, I Will Always Love You and The Greatest Love Of All on the stage in front of adoring fans.

As well as being a rising solo artist on the Jazz/Soul music scene, Janine is a lead vocalist with the Westcoast Soulstars and Urban Voices Collective and she works regularly in the music industry as a backing vocalist and session singer.

She has worked with the likes of Paloma Faith, George Michael, Kaiser Chiefs, Bobby McFerrin and Take That.

The star lived and worked in Spain for 12 years before returning to London to further her music and acting career and she trained in musical theatre at Guildford School of Acting before going on to play a number of roles in theatre and television.

Her most recent roles have been in The Harder They Come, Blues Brothers and E4’s Midnight Beast. As a singer-songwriter she has released one album Strength, Wisdom and Growth. She also has a freshly released EP called Passion, ahead of the release of her second album later this year.

Janine last wowed the crowds at Norden Farm in ‘Confessions of a Soul Diva’, which she performed on May 5 this year - showcasing the best music from divas past and present - including Shirley Bassey, Aretha Franklin and Whitney. Visit nordenfarm.org for tickets.
