Firefighters had to put out fires in two hay bales on fields owned by Eton College adjoining South Meadow Lane last night.
They were called at 6.30pm and 7.30pm and three young people spotted in the area are suspected of being responsible.
Both fires were put out quickly - helped by recent rain.
The incidents happened near the Swan Lifeline sanctuary site.
