THE trio of Dan Fulbrook, Chris Beach and Sue Topchik won two titles each at the Burnham Tennis Association Finals Day on Saturday.
The singles finals saw a tight first set followed by a much easier second, with the favourites prevailing in both cases.
In the ladies section, it was a repeat of the final from last year, with the more experienced Hazel Pickford again overcoming Leah Cohen 7-6, 6-1.
In the men's division however it was time for the younger generation to take over with Fulbrook a new winner. Having narrowly missed out last year, he became singles champion, beating his doubles partner Beach 7-6, 6-0.
In both the men's and ladies doubles, the favourites and holders were taken to a match-deciding tie break but both prevailed.
Helen Trill and Topchik came back from a set and 3-1 down to finally overcome Sue Gray and Pickford 4-6, 6-4, 10-5.
Men's singles finalists Fulbrook and Beach combined to retain their title by defeating Nick Piercy and Chris Tucker 6-1, 3-6, 10-0.
Finally in the mixed doubles, Fulbrook and Beach returned to being on opposing sides of the net. Beach and Topchik prevailed over the holders Fulbrook and Cohen 6-2, 7-5.
