IVER Heath Bowls Club has had a surprise visit from actor and comedian Johnny Vegas.
Vegas is currently filming Still Open All Hours at Pinewood and has challenged Australian comedian and host of the talk show The Last Leg, Adam Hills, to a charity bowls match near his hometown of St. Helens.
He usually plays at Crown Green Bowls Club but felt he needed a little practice so went to
Iver Heathfor a roll up.
Vegas has threatened to bring his work colleagues to Iver Heath for a match when he has finished shooting and the club welcome the idea.
